Trawling through my spam box I just found this comment:
The text is jambled is there something wrong with this site
from the website of a company called Armoured Apparel. Now, I don’t usually like having my prose style critiqued by a fucking robot, but in this case my interest was piqued by the website name so I went and looked it up and it is exactly what it says – an online purveyor of women’s and men’s armoured garments. It even has a list of ballistic gear standards for those who aren’t sure they’re getting the top drawer stuff.
Check it out, it’s so cyberpunk it makes your eyes bleed.

This stuff was apparently huge in.. I think it was Brazil or Colombia. Somplace in south america were there was a lot of shooting action going on. I guess it was actually semi standard to uparmor regular cars ballistically. I guess it’s just now catching on here, not that I’m complaining as armor with style is cool!

Really? At long last, can I live out my Shadowrun live action dreams by purchasing a bullet proof long coat
It’d also be useful for Harry Dresden dress up.

It has cosplay options too… one of the pages there seems to imply the existence of ballistic panels for corsetry, unless i misread it…

I’d imagine you could armor nearly anything. Looking good in it is another matter entirely. I’m just dissapointed at no trench coats~ You can’t have cyberpunk without those.

Hmm. Grey’s right. That kills my dream of stashing a katana under a long coat 😦

Is that a katana under your coat or are you just pleased to see me…?
